The Genesis of PAUSE
For the past two years, a project has been brewing in the lab. It started with a simple idea: what if a mobile experience could be as raw, funny, and authentic as the culture that inspired it? That idea became PAUSE.
Building PAUSE wasn’t just about learning to code or wrestling with Android studio at 3 AM (though there was plenty of that). It was about building a world. It was about taking real-life inspirations and turning them into stylized, larger-than-life characters that jump off the screen. It was about acting out every scene, writing every line of dialogue, and refusing to drop a build until it looked exactly like the vision in my head.
Where We Are Now: The 3.1 Milestone
After months of grinding in the trenches, we’ve hit a major milestone. PAUSE Version 3.1 has just entered closed beta testing on the Google Play Store. This isn’t just a prototype anymore. The UI is polished, the branding is sleek and blacked-out, and the foundation is solid.
We’ve got a small, dedicated crew of testers putting it through its paces right now, making sure that when it drops for the world, it hits different.
The Future is Unapologetic
PAUSE is just the beginning. The Beaty Vision universe is expanding. We’re already deep in development on the pilot for our adult-animated comic series, “Scumbag Puppy,” which shares the same DNA and no-holds-barred humor.
